She was born on February 23, 1922 in Pittsville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Aaron and Alice Meyer VanDan. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.
She is survived by six children, William Boyer, Nila Pierce, Judy Meinert, Alice Polak, Donna (Wayne) Perry and James (Marcia) Boyer and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She worked in the deli department at K-Mart until her retirement in 1980.
