- Gary was born April 16, 1949, in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Loren V. and Effie M. (Turner) Enerson. He was a 1967 graduate of Pittsville High School. He served in the U.S. Army for two years, stationed in Germany.
Gary worked construction for J.L. Sullivan, Wisconsin Rapids, and for Boldt Construction at the mill. He later was employed at the Pittsville Bakery and Schwanebeck Trucking.
He enjoyed auctions, antiques, reading, skiing, tractor and steam shows, Packers games, breakfast at Sandy's Café and walks on the bluff. He was a member of the labor union.
Gary was always a friend and willing to help others.
He is survived by his parents, Effie Enerson of Marshfield and Loren Enerson of Madison; two sisters, Coral Doescher (special friend Norm Hasenfang) of Marshfield, Judy (Rich) Hauger of Wisconsin Rapids; special nephew; special nieces; and great-nieces and -nephews.
