- Flo was born on Jan. 7, 1933, in Rogers, Minn. She attended school at Patrick Henry High School in Minneapolis. After high school, she met the love of her life, Antonio "Tony" Adrignola, and they married on April 19, 1952. Tony made a career of the United States Air Force. Flo, as a military wife, traveled around the country with him. There was one child born in every state they were stationed, as well as Canada. They were blessed with five children.
For 17 years, she worked at the "Red Schoolhouse" in Lakeside. She later volunteered for many organizations, unselfishly helping the indigent, sick and homeless. For years she had also served on the board of directors at the Samaritan House in Kalispell.
She also was a member of Pope John Paul II of Bigfork, and volunteered for many other organizations such as the Rollins Community Club, Women of Rollins, Rollins Volunteer Fire Department, Chief Homemakers, St. Ann's Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Convalescent Home, Pinehaven, Council of Catholic Women (CCW), and many others.
In 1998, Flo was nominated for the Valley-Wide Volunteer of the Year for her outstanding volunteer services to the community.
Tony and Flo traveled around the world after the children were raised. They traveled to England, Italy, Sicily, Cancun, Acapulco, Cozumel, and made several trips to Belize. These were the locations of some of their adventures where they celebrated their life together.
Flo was a lovely lady, who had a passion for cooking and gardening. Vegetables, cherries, and vibrantly colored flowers were the pride of her hobbies. Traveling with her husband Tony was another enjoyable part of her life. Her family and friends were very important and she relished entertaining them with food and her unforgettable laugh. Making people happy was her greatest joy.
